A light clock has been installed as a new point of attraction at SEIBU department store’s flagship store in Ikebukuro. The illumination and movement on the four sides of a pillar covered with 11,000 LEDs mark the current time. A musical selection is played when the store opens and at the top of every hour to combine the telling of time with special staging.
